its like rice only its smaller and spherical. it has a fuck load of protein and like magnesium and some other stuff i guess its good for ur butt hole. i guess there is some sort of poison on it before they process the grain balls but its not dangerous unless u eat a shit load of quinoa leafs (wikipedia) i bought a rice maker and stashed it in the cupboard in the kitchen at work and i be makin quinoa in that shit. i put some soy sauce on it its good.

fuck it im gonna eat it tomorrow dude. i live life on the edge.

A good grain hasnt hit me since pilaf in 86 or 87

its sort of like cous cous only quinoas are bigger than cous couses i think. it sort of tastes like corn a little bit maybe. like if corn was way smaller and a little bit crunchier but still fluffy.

u could probly eat it with lots of stuff u pretty much use it the same way as rice. iono what wines it goes good with tho.

i think its good but i'm not advocating quinoa so if u fgts go all quinoa crazy and then don't like it don't blame me

im still going to eat other stuff other than quinoa u guys i made this post while i was eating some quinoa and i was pretty hyped on quinoa at that point and i stick by what i said about it being a pretty dope grain but obviously i'm still going to eat other stuff too its not that dope of a grain

ill be honest your quinoa backtracking is certainly giving me pause. i think ill go forward with the quinoa plan anyway.

thats a really good description of rice. quinoa is sort of like that only a little bit crunchier than rice.

tbh i put a decent amount of soy sauce on the quinoa so i guess i probly know more about what soy sauce tastes like than what actual quinoas taste like.

things I did today:

got a haircut
painted my bathroom beige
got a lot of texts from bbb about trevor the great

but most importantly

i got quinoa and some tomato basil pesto with pinenuts

will update with pics of quinoa quest/results tonight.

its slighty above average imo. translucent in color and has a slight crunch. as you can tell from the picture the grains are circular in shape and very tiny. the best quality of it is that it sticks to the veggie pasta, chicken and absorbs the sun dried tomato basil. gives it all a slight crunch. its so tiny im scared its all gonna fall out my butt immediately, esp since I was busy all day and this is my only meal. alone the taste isn't wonderful but you can mask that. unfortunately since rice can be lovely on it's own i dont think quinoa is supplanting rice atop my favorite grain list.

quinoa gets a B- from me.

that was quite the misstep.
