1 Why is gayness hip these days? on Fri Jan 11, 2013 12:52 pm

I watched the end of 1600 penn yesterday and the mom was like you have a boyfriend what's his name, and she was like jessica. The girl was like 12. Then I thought to myself about shows like modern family, the new normal, and the kardashians... And im like shit man there is a lot of gayness in the world and I don't like it.
I used to have a friend who was a life guard. Life guarding turned him gay. He used to bone a lot of girls , then after he worked at the county pool, his whistle wasn't the only thing he was blowing. But he was not born that way so fuck you lady gaga.
I think im becoming old fashioned but irl you cant call anyone a fgt, and I miss that.

you need sensitivity training chuck. we're fag friendly in 2013.

seriously though i think it's because at least gay dudes don't do shit like this.

What would you do if you walked into your 2 bedroom raised ranchero house on your lunch break and found your son blowing more than a whistle chuck?

edit: also, what were you being for halloween that year its really been bugging me the past 10 minutes I can't finger it out

Come on dog, you can't want your kid to stay away from being gay if you took a kissy face picture with a guy who looks like a rapist dressed in a spiderman outfit

I wasn't dressed. Also that was so long ago I am completely different now than I was back then.
Of course I would still love him.
Heres orders of what I fear my kid becoming
Gay
drug user
Cholo
Burn victim

There's no way you'd rather your son be a burn victim than be gay or a drug user unless you're a bad person.

lmao, this can't be life, well honestly, I'd be more upset if my son was a cholo named lil joker than if he came home with a dude shoving him full of gay cock :/

a show you'll never see (hopefully)

The show has received mixed reviews from critics. David Hinkley of the New York Daily News gave the series 1 star out of 5 and said "[it] was clearly designed to be good silly fun. It nails one out of three. It’s silly." He called the First Family "annoying... sitcom stereotypes" and said that it "mines none of the more subtle and satisfying possibilities of poking fun at a staid institution. It’s more like a drug-fueled Saturday Night Live sketch that won't end. Fortunately, 1600 Penn probably will."[4] Tim Surette of TV.com said that the show is "what happens when network executives think a screeching buffoon equals laughs" and that the jokes elicit responses of "mostly tumbleweeds and cricket chirps".[5] Paste's Ross Bonaime also criticized the characters and said, "please, oh please, make the show actually funny... maybe it should just be put out of its misery."[6] Vicki Hyman of The Star-Ledger graded the show a "D" and said, "you'd be forgiven for thinking [it] was a relic of the 1980s or 1990s", adding that the show was looking for "viewers who have lax requirements about actual humor in their comedies."[7] Paul Meekin of Star Pulse noted that the show was unable to escape the footprint of The West Wing and wondered if it was "a years-late West Wing parody, a humorous and fresh take on presidential politics, or somewhere inbetween?" answering, "it’s neither. It’s actually quite godawful."[8]
One less critical review came from Hank Stuever of The Washington Post, who called it "formulaic" but said, "give a few points to 1600 Penn for trying." He also noted that "there’s no danger of a partisan storyline or any resemblance to the current administration."[9] Maureen Ryan of The Huffington Post called Josh Gad "by far the best thing about this show" and hoped that if the show were cancelled, he find a better vehicle for his talents.[10]
The series has received 55 out of 100 from Metacritic, noting mixed or average reviews. Positive reviews called the series "very funny", and "a surprisingly likable single camera comedy."[11]

My favorite part of the transition thus far has been the following moments

- afraid to correct wife's grammar.
- afraid to tell wife he woke up with his coat on but doesn't remember it because "she'll make me go to the doctor".

sounds like he really hit the jackpot.

i am very happy with my wife,i recently cut my hair also.
she's a hypochondriac (sp?) towards me and not herself. i guess "make" was wrong wording, but she would insist i see the doctor.
as far as correcting her grammargoes, i dont want her to feel dum because i did once when she pronounced canopy as can-NO-py. and i felt bad for it.
having said that she's great and she cooks every meal for me, and thanks to her help i passed my cholesterol test.
1600 penn is a shitty show and i didnt watch it, just the end. bill pullman should run for actual president one day though.
speaking of tv shows i loled at Face Off when the black guy was the first to go

I would start eating at arby's again if they used actual cheese on their sandwiches instead of cheese whiz. Arby's sauce and horsey sauce are some damn good condiments.
