why is breezy points queens? My grandparents live in Whitestone which is Queens too i guess but live pretty far from breezy point. Is Queens that huge? It seems like there's parts in between that isn't considered Queens.

whitestone is where the old shea stadium used to be
and thats right at the beginning, when you take the whitestone bridge from the bronx
breezy point is waaay down, its part of the rockaway peninsula which juts out into the ocean... pretty much the complete opposite side from where your grandparents live
see what im sayin

I think that map kind of cuts off a large portion of Queens as well... Its true theres a lot of parts that kinda intersect with Nassau County, Long Island. Places you cant even reach by subway, you have to take the Long Island Railroad. I would never wanna live out there if I worked in the city

yeah i used to go to old shea with my gramps. good shit. yeah i was just shocked the fires were in queens and i looked at a map to make sure their house was ok and i was like wtf. queens is a lot bigger than i thought/guess they live as far as geographically possible from the fire being in the same borough.

Yeah our boroughs are far less defined than NY's and obviously we're tiny compared to it.
I'm pretty sure Boston proper is the same size as just one of the boroughs if not smaller.
