The measure in Washington State, Initiative 502, will legalize and regulate the production, possession and distribution of marijuana for residents age 21 and older.
The new law will impose a 25 percent tax rate on marijuana when the grower sells it to the processor, when the processor sells it to the retailer and when the retailer sells it to the customer. The measure could bring in $500 million, a figure analysts dispute.

recreational weed has basically been legal in seattle since like 06 so its not that big a deal really but being able to buy weed at a weed store without one of those medical weed cards is pretty kewl. anyone can get the medical weed card but i'm not trying to pay 200 dollards for a medical weed card.

mass is super gay as fuck with regulations so i doubt i'll be able to get my w33d card but its been decriminalized for a few years so its just a $25 citation anyway if you get caught smoking weed. also they never enforce it.
