Goodbye Asperger's Disease. We hardly knew thee.

We'll always see you there, under the Autism umbrella but no longer can we take you as a separate entity. "Get out of here mild autism!" is what we'll say when you pop your head out.

They flipped the script with all the schizophrenia subtypes and added a type of bipolar too.

i even convinced a close friend that he had assburgers one night jokingly and he took it to heart

a little off topic i was in some srs rush hour traffic and got pissed at some guy who clearly drove over the double-yellow lined hov lane and nearly clipped me so i yelled out the window 'you gap tooth wigger'

i fukn laughed so hard at that

I know they've been planning to absorb it under autism for awhile, but it does bother me because i think this means my brother is a full blown autistic.

such a shame, by far the best name ever for a (former) disease.

it shouldn't bother you people with autism have brilliant minds. i worked at a camp one summer and there was a kid who obviously was a loner and i was the only person who talked to him but he could recite whole movies and had a book where he drew pokemon type shit (this was before pokemon though i think) and he had a whole story that evolved throughout the summer. one time i got the other kids to listen to him and they were all asking questions and it was cool because the kid was all excited the other kids would acknowledge him.

I did some walk for autism last month, not quite sure what I accomplished but there was free coffee and donuts and it made my friends(autistic parents) extremely happy so I'm guessing it was worthwhile.

are your friends parents of an autistic child or autistic parents raising a non-autistic child?
