went to my favorite craft beer spot

last night with some old co-workers. the owners are really cool they are constantly rotating beers and food menue and always go the extra mile to get shit that no one else has. plus there are always groups of friendly foine babes that love to chat about sports and almond milk and other things (thats all i could recall from our conversation).

so, after about 4 strong moscow mules, i drank:

Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin IPA
Cismontane Dead Santa
Societe The Butcher

unfortunately they don't bottle and sell any of this, which isn't that big of a deal but it would be nice. all of them got pretty good reviews on beer advocate.

after that i went and ordered a thin-crust pizza from a small hole in the wall and dropped the whole fuckin thing as i was cutting through an alley.

you're in san diego right? i mean i could recco some shit but there is probably better local shit by you that i've never heard of considering the west coast is far better for american micros due to being closer to where they grow american hops (though we aint too shabby ourselves).

i dont think 5 second rule applies when dealing with alleys considering vagrants shit in them.

like we dont get two of the three beers you listed here. ballast is dope tho. i could recco anyone on the east coast since i lived in atl and bos so i know a lot of stuff distributed here but cali is a whole diff ballgame.

beer distribution laws are weird as fuck. like we can't get Bell's here because of some beef the head of the licensing board has with the owner or something ridic. it's all politics. id just like to be able to get a two hearted on tap sometimes in boston pls and ty.

i only got a couple of the corner pieces of that thin crust but i usually like to eat my pizza while im drunk walking instead of waiting to sit down. one misstep and that shit went flying and of course it lands face down with the top wide open. i stood there and stared at. it was going to be a great finish to a good night but oh well.

yeah he has back legs i think he was stretching or hiding them somewhere, such a good dog. i still laugh to myself when tony touch said feed your dog some chicken fat for a beautiful coat. im getting pretty close to buying a dog.

yeah i live in san diego but i feel like ive tried just about everything local here except for maybe a couple very small brewers out in the middle of no where. yeah the distribution laws are weird i never understood. if you have a market somewhere by all means get the product there but i guess its not that simple.

i had gotten some discount coupon thing from BevMo which is like the costco for booz here so I got a case of anchor steam winter ale, some bear republic ipa racer (which i highly recommend), oceanside ale works strong blond, and julian black and blue cider.

dude i love frickles but i only get them at hooters i have no clue where else to find them. yeah man its craft beer season a lot of good new releases. place looks cool, looks like they know their beer.

i went through a racer 5 kick for a week a few months back. its our two hearted in boston though so i usually drink it when we aint at a craft beer bar since its on tap pretty much all over the city. if they have no craft beer at all i drink likahhhhh. i drank pbr at the pats game last week with my buddies dont get me wrong but they bought it. i dont think ive spent money on domestic bullshit in 2-3 years.

oh shit i remember bell now they were here for beer week over the summer never got to try it though.

i still drink pbr and bud all the time. all the hipster bars have like dollar pbr tall boy night or dollar blue moons.
